Completely obsessed with this slip dress. I searched for the longest time trying to find the perfect slip dress. I want just a classic dress at a length that wasn't too short or too long. The hardest part was figuring out what color I wanted due to so many color options. For some reason I gravitated towards the pink. I felt it complimented my skin tone the best.

Versatility | This dress is such a nice basic but it's not basic... if you know what I mean. It really holds its own and doesn't need much to make an outfit. However, I do like that you can layer it if you want to (a girl needs options).

Price | I purchased this dress from Princess Polly Boutique. At a price point of $63 I feel it is extremely worth it. The quality of the dress is very well made. The dress is made out of 100% polyester (cheaper alternative to silk).

Fit | The fit was the only struggle I had when making my purchase. The sizes are Australian plus you can't wear a bra with this dress due to the back making it difficult to go down a size. I ended up getting an 8 (US Size 4) but I honestly think I could have fit in the AUS 6 due to my bust. The dress has extra fabric on the sides to support your bust (if you have one). But for those of us who are a little smaller on top, it can look a little weird with extra fabric on the side. I noticed this on a lot of the slip dresses I looked at. Just something to keep in mind. I figured out how to make it fit nicely to my body by adjusting the straps.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase. And hello it photographs beautifully! photo IMG_8059_zpsqdc4ia4d.jpg photo 14128691_1787532228183512_90478859_n_zpsowhs2rig.jpg
